We love welcoming new students and introducing them to the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu!

Private Intro Lesson

All new students begin with a private one-on-one introductory lesson with our head instructor, David Dean.

  • Kids (Ages 4+) – A private intro lesson is required before joining group classes.

  • Teens & Adults – Private intro lessons are highly encouraged for all new students.

Your private lesson is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu, answer any questions you may have, and help you feel confident and comfortable before attending your first class.

Monday–Saturday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Simple, Affordable Memberships

At Big Break Jiu-Jitsu, all memberships include unlimited classes, so you can train as often as you'd like. Choose the membership option that best fits your goals.

Kids Membership (Ages 4–10)

6 month pre-payment $900

  • $155/month with a 6-month membership agreement (billed month-to-month)

  • $175/month with no membership agreement — cancel anytime

Teen & Adult Membership (Ages 11+)

6 month pre-payment $990

  • $175/month with a 6-month membership agreement (billed month-to-month)

  • $200/month with no membership agreement — cancel anytime

Registration Fee

A one-time $50 registration fee is due at enrollment.

Memberships begin on the day you enroll and automatically renew each month on the same date.

Frequently asked Questions

What should I wear to my first class? Wear comfortable workout clothes like shorts and a t-shirt, leggings, or sweats. Avoid anything with zippers, buttons, or jeans. Don't worry if you don't have a gi — we provide one for your intro class.

What can I expect during my intro class? Your private intro session with our head instructor will cover basic Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals so you feel comfortable and confident in your first group class. It's no-pressure and tailored to you.

Do I need experience? Absolutely not. Our classes welcome complete beginners of all ages and fitness levels."

What about hygiene and safety? We ask that students keep their hair neat and nails clipped short to prevent injuries during training. Clean gym attire is also important for everyone's safety and respect on the mat.

Do you accept drop-in students? We don't accept drop-ins due to safety concerns, as we need to know our students' experience level. However, we do welcome affiliates from SABRE
